Chord OMS June 2024 Release Highlights

• Chord OMS Updates

  • Gift Cards

    • Expanded the payload for the API call to retrieve gift card information.

  • Shipping

    • Merchants can now require customers to pay an additional store-wide shipping fee that can cover fees like import taxes and duties.

    • The default free shipping threshold has been removed. Free shipping will not be offered at all unless Chord merchants specify this value. Previously, the free shipping threshold defaulted to $25 USD.

  • Gift Subscriptions

    • We now include redemption type values for gift subscriptions in the order.

    • Operators can filter prepaid subscriptions based on whether or not they’re a gift in the Chord OMS.

  • Non-Gift Subscriptions

    • We updated a rule in Stripe to allow for subscription installment orders to bypass any Radar rules in order to be processed successfully.

    • We now display forecasted assortment line items for subscription types.

    • Subscriptions on the Chord OMS admin page can now be filtered by processing state (ex. payment failures, new payments, etc).

• Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the Chord OMS could not complete orders for customers that were signed in but didn’t have a Stripe profile created yet, since they had not yet made a purchase.

  • Fixed a bug on the subscriptions page when viewing subscriptions associated with deleted users.

  • Fixed a bug that was calculating tax when a discount or coupon was attached to the order.
