Chord Product Updates — February 2026

DATE:
AUTHOR: Chord Product Team

This month, we focused on strengthening core workflows and improving data reliability across the platform.

New features

Data modeling for Iterable

Chord now supports native messaging data modeling for Iterable, in addition to Klaviyo. Iterable campaign events are structured using the same commerce-ready framework that powers the rest of your Chord data.

Why it matters
You can analyze Iterable campaign performance alongside revenue, orders, and customer behavior — without exporting data or rebuilding logic elsewhere. This gives you consistent, decision-ready messaging insights inside Chord.

CDP custom property mapping

You can now map custom properties directly within your CDP destination connections. This makes it easier to align Chord data with your platform’s unique field structure — without manual workarounds or external transformations.

The result is cleaner activations, more consistent data downstream, and greater flexibility in how you structure and use customer attributes across your marketing tools.

New sync modal experience

We’ve redesigned the sync creation and editing experience to make activations clearer and easier to manage. All sync settings now live in a single structured modal, with improved field mapping and expanded run history.

You can review past runs, see error details, and update mappings in one place — reducing friction and making activation management more transparent.

Coming soon

Next-gen subscriptions modeling

We’re rolling out a major update to Subscriptions, including a new Subscriptions Explore and enhanced subscription modeling built around real customer behavior.

This revamp makes subscription performance easier to analyze, improves the accuracy and depth of subscription metrics, and better reflects how customers actually engage with recurring products.

More details coming soon!

Improvements

Event filters for cloud-mode destinations
You can now apply event-level filters to cloud-mode destination connections, giving you more control over which events are sent to downstream platforms. Reduce noise, improve signal quality, and align tracking with each platform’s needs.

New CDP destinations
We’ve added new activation options to expand your paid media coverage:

These additions give you more flexibility in how you track, attribute, and optimize performance across channels.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where brand users were not able to create Dashboards from Quickstarts.

  • Worked on a fix to prevent users from attaching functions to connections to device-mode destinations via Console or API.

  • Fixed an issue where Copilot-enabled brands erroneously saw error banners on the homepage.

  • We now consistently display a loading indicator within a Copilot thread. This was most noticeable on slow networks or on local development environments.
