December 2023 Release Highlights

Happy New Year from the Chord team! We wrapped up a busy 2023 and we are looking forward to exciting new product updates in the new year. To kick off the year, here is a list of feature improvements and bug fixes from December 2023 below.

Chord OMS Feature Improvements:

• Customers

  • We now allow operators to search by name in the customer field on the Customer page in the Chord OMS.

• Orders

  • We added a button in the order admin page to allow merchants to force-cancel an order. This is considered a button of last resort and should only be used for orders that need to be marked as voided or cancelled in its entirety.

  • Chord OMS will always mark prepaid order purchases as shipped.

  • Chord OMS will automatically add a tag for recreated orders and will also add a link to the original order.

  • We added filter criteria on the Orders page. Operators can now filter by payment state and shipping state. 

• Products

  • Chord OMS now validates abandoned carts with products that are in stock.

• Promotions

  • We are now excluding free items from distributable promotions.

• Subscriptions

  • We added a filter on the Chord OMS prepaid subscriptions page that will, by default, hide inactive prepaid subscriptions.

  • We added a new adjustment reason, "Cancelled prepaid subscription", so operators can continue to process refunds for prepaid subscriptions and accurately log the reason for the adjustment.

  • We added CDP events for pausing and resuming a subscription.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed a bug that prevented changing the assortment dates within the date range of the assortment.

• Fixed a bug where bundles were not re-populating when orders were recreated.
