Feature Announcement: Gift Cards
You’ve asked for it, and we’ve delivered it to you: gift cards are here! As the holiday season approaches, we knew it was important to enable your customers to give easy last-minute gifts from their favorite store. The best part of this feature is that your customers can purchase multiple gift cards and include a special note to the recipient. This makes the gift that much sweeter. All the recipient needs to activate their gift card is their email!

How it works:
Create a new gift card product in your store.
Add the new gift card step to your cart checkout: when the cart contains a gift card, prompt the customer to fill in recipient info for each card and choose when to deliver. We'll send the gift email on the scheduled date.
In the gift card email, link the recipient to an activation page. Upon entering the correct email, they'll receive an email link to "log in" and create their account to receive the gift card amount as store credit. No codes necessary!
