November 2023 Release Highlights

Here are the notable feature improvements and bug fixes from November 2023.

Chord OMS Feature Improvements:

• Customers Page

  • We made updates to the Customers page to include additional breadcrumb navigation items when an operator clicks to edit customer roles.

• Orders

  • Added store credit to user updated CDP event from credit balance.

  • If a customer has a credit on their account (via a gift card or promotion) and the credit amount is greater than the price of both products and shipping, Chord OMS will apply the credit amount to shipping as well as the product total.

• Subscriptions

  • Added the recurring attribute for prepaid subscriptions to third party email events.

  • On the Subscriptions page, operators can now filter subscriptions by the product variant in the subscription.

• Chord OMS performance improvements

  • In addition to the feature improvements above, the Chord team made several updates to improve Chord OMS performance and responsiveness. Namely, we updated the following:

    • We removed the capability for customers to sync store content with the Chord OMS via the Chord OMS administrative settings page.

    • We also removed the "Processing State" field on the Subscriptions page. This field was not a commonly used filter and was using excessive database storage.

    • We are limiting API responses to 25 records per call.

Bug Fixes:

• We fixed a bug where the Chord OMS was unable to recognize and merge customer e-mail addresses due to being capitalization sensitive. Now, when merging user records together, the same e-mail with different cases will be treated as the same.
