Release Notes: June 16 - 29, 2026

This release centers on the next generation of Chord Copilot, now with persistent chat history, shareable conversations, and clearer answers that show their work. We also expanded data source coverage and made it easier to find what you need across large catalogs.

New features

Copilot Next

A redesigned Chord AI Copilot with a refreshed, more conversational experience: a personalized start screen, guided category prompts (Revenue & Growth, Customer Acquisition, Paid Media Performance, and more), and answers that are direct and grounded in your data. Read our first look at Copilot Next for background on the rebuild.

Note: The Chord AI Slack bot has not yet been updated to this experience. It still runs on Copilot Classic.

Heads up: If Copilot Classic is disabled for your organization and you have the AI Slack bot enabled, "Open in Hub" links generated by the Slack bot will no longer work. If you rely on the Slack bot, keep Copilot Classic enabled until it's updated to Copilot Next. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Shareable conversation links

Share a Copilot chat with a teammate via a permalink. Copy a link from the chat header, the history list, or directly from an answer and deep-link straight back to any conversation.

Answer scope summaries

Each Copilot answer opens with a one-sentence summary of exactly what the query covered, so non-technical users can confirm the scope before reading the result. The same summary now also appears in the Chord AI Slack bot.

Clearer, more direct Copilot answers

Copilot now leads with the finding, makes reasonable assumptions instead of asking clarifying questions, returns tables for breakdowns, and flags uncertainty plainly rather than dressing up a guess.

Conversation authorship in history

Copilot chats now show who asked each question, making it easier to tell whose conversation is whose when reviewing shared history.

Up-to-date chat titles

The chat history drawer now refreshes whenever you open it, so auto-generated chat titles appear right away without a manual page reload.

Searchable destination objects for large catalogs

The sync wizard's destination object selector now searches your full catalog server-side, with a live result count. Customers with very large catalogs can finally find and sync their newest objects, including those with slashes in their names.

Fixes

• Reloaded Copilot conversations now render exactly like live ones. Each answer appears as a single message with its steps intact, instead of being split apart.

• Cleaned up the Copilot chat history list so reference-only entries are no longer clickable and don't show actions that don't apply to them.
